One of the four original founding members, David has been given the honorary (i.e. non-paid) titles of apartment controller, CEO, safety inspector, and dishwasher. Other than Judah, David is the only member of apartment 106 that has lived in the apartment since it’s “birth” way back in August of 2002. Throughout the apartment he is known for collecting rent (all members have paid him some sort of rent at one time or another), doing dishes, and paying the bills. As safety inspector, David has saved apartmentmates’ lives (especially Judah’s) many times. He is also known for coming up with the patented “death potential”TM system, which tells people what percent chance they stand of dieing if they attempt a certain activity. As safety inspector, David has campaigned for goggles being worn during battles, constantly warned people of the dangers of the invisibility portal, argued against firing squads, and protested anyone being shot by the shotgun.

Despite his numerous duties, David has participated in his fair share of skirmishes and adventures while at apartment 106. In battle, David is a known veteran and capable leader, able to proficiently operate any airsoft gun in the apartment. While his bad aim has been well documented (Judah’s dad claims to have seen David hit a cow while they were skeet shooting.), he makes up for this in battle with his courage, steady nerves, and use of strategies that have been formed over countless battles in the past. His first battle was the Great War, in which the heroic Judeah-Davidic League first took up arms and defeated the evil Jeff-o-Patron Empire. David’s courage under fire and devastating attacks with the machine gun in this battle have been agreed upon by all members involved (Even those confused about the outcome.). Besides the battles, David has been involved in the both the ice day and the snow day.

Aside from battles and collecting rent, David has also been involved in other activities while at the apartment. He is known by all to enjoy running, and has run with the majority of apartmentmates. He has entered several road races throughout his lifetime, including the Zoo Run Run, and the Turkey Trot, which is a race that has become tradition to run on Thanksgiving Day morning. David has also been Judah’s partner for several outdoor adventure races, which involve trail running, mountain biking, paddle kayaking, and various mystery events. David has also been a member of the SMU Racquetball club since his freshman year, and has played many ping-pong games in the apartment.

Outside the apartment, David is currently a senior accounting major at SMU. His immediate plans after graduation include getting a Masters in Accounting, and working in the field of public accounting. This semester he is the VP of Finance at SMU Toastmasters. His only sibling is a younger sister named Lisa, and he also has a dog named Butterfinger and a cat named Danny. His parents, sibling, and pets all live in Grapevine, Texas.

Before living in the apartment, David lived in many other places around the U.S. He grew up in Illinois, near Chicago, and then moved to Stamford, Connecticut when he was 13. When he was 16 he moved to Grapevine, Texas. One of his favorite activities growing up was soccer, which he played for eleven years. He spent his first two years at SMU in the Virginia-Snider dorm, where he met a lot of the other apartmentmates.
