Archeological Recovery trip to Charleston, South Carolina to Scuba Dive amongst alligators and venomous snakes in the Cooper River to find Megladon, Pre-historic Shark's teeth!
Pirate Treasure Hunting Expedition in Jamaica. On our previous excursion to Jamaica, we learned of the treasure hidden in a pool of water in a mountain cave not far from the ocean. We plan to return for a 2008 expedition to scuba dive through the underwater cave to discover the pirate treasure.
Jeff & Judah are thinking about becoming mountain-men and living in the Montana/Wyoming mountains. We will need some training. Our co-worker Pirate Bill might lead our training to be mountain men and on finding bigfoot (he has experience in both).
We will first get some training at the Mountain Man Rendezvous on July 25 - Aug 3, 2008.
They have events such as open Shooting Range, fire starting, wild horses, archery, black powder shoot, hawk & knife throw, music and storytelling, and of course small pox and cholera.
June 8-13, 2008. Texas Water Safari: "The World's Toughest Boat Race". 262 miles of paddling from San Marcos to the ocean!
May 10, 2008. Kelly's wedding in Florida + beach-house for a few days beforehand

The logo should be fitting of 106 (to include drawings of favorite 106 items), but should also be simple enough to be integrated into promotional materials and clothing and to be easily recognizable and branding.
Submissions are due by February 5. Great prizes are to be awarded to the winner. More details.
Apt road-trip to learn ICE CLIMBING - around Jan 10-16 (and of course many other fun activities during the trip such as snowmobiling, hiking through the woods at night, tubing / ice skiing off the back of a vehicle, outdoor ice skating, searching for bears with my new predator call, skiing). Learn at the Ouray Ice Festival.
Jeff, David, Barak, Lauren, and Judah are currently planning a SKI trip for Thanksgiving weekend. We will be making reservations very soon, so let me know if you are interested in the trip. We will drive to Winter Park, Colorado.
Of course since this is an APT106 adventure, the activities will not be limited to solely skiing! Examples of other activities that we might partake in include hiking through woods at night, tubing / ice skiing off the back of a vehicle, horseback riding, snowmobiling, outdoor ice skating, swimming in hot springs or under the frozen lake to find fish for Thanksgiving dinner and pirate treasures, using Judah's new predator call to attract bear and wolves to make friends that will hunt for our dinner and for free lodging in a bear cave.

APT106 Shooting Contest!!! with great prizes such as kayaking, violin, Scuba, Golf, camouflage, monkey. Also, any contestant who brings a worthy dessert will receive a 20% bonus added to their raw shooting score!

ULTIMATE VENEZUELAN ADVENTURE!!!!
Dec 20-28.
We will participate in the following types of adventures on our trip (focus on JUNGLE exploration):
journey to the AMAZON!!!! along the Orinoco River - jungle and African Safari type terrains - view wildlife such as MONKEYs, ANACONDAS, Jaguars, capybara, and fish for Piranha!
Visit the Angel Falls (20x higher than Niagra falls) along the Orinoco - there are nearby Carnivorous plants!
Backpack in the Andes mountains
visit the Caribbean Coastlines - Scuba Dive or Snorkel, beach activities such as swimming, windsurfing
Our lodging may consist of camping, sleeping in huts with local Indians, or if we feel like being fancy perhaps a hostel or cheap hotel - but be ready for an Adventure!
Our method of transportation once in Venezuela will consist of public buses, foot, and perhaps boats (larger or small personal rented boats such as dugout Indian cayucos) to travel to remote and unexplored locations.Here is a list of some supplies that you will need for the trip:

Machete with Sheath (make sure to have a sheath so you don't chop off your fingers like Judah nearly did in Panama)
