Apartment 106 was established in August 2002 with four original members and has since come to encompass over a dozen members and associates. No longer just an obscure apartment complex of north Dallas, Apartment 106 has come to symbolize a way of life devoted to friendship, fun, and often absurd danger. Now apartment 106 stands as a powerful testing ground, transforming the lives and college experiences of many an SMU student. Whether being shot by high velocity plastic pellets, surviving a massive apartment complex fire, or evacuating for abatement procedures, the adventures and trials of this institution leave an indelible mark on each member-- a mark that says, "I have survived. I have overcome. Ouch, I have just gotten the crap shot out of me." Apartment 106 takes a callow, sophomoric college student and makes him or her...well...something else.
