TEAM MEMBERS

BARAK EPSTEIN   is the principal creative impetus behind PRISON-A-GO-GO!, his second feature film directing credit.  His feature debut, the action-spoof-comedy CORNMAN: AMERICAN VEGETABLE HERO won the trophy for “Best Comedy” at the 2001 Deep Ellum Film Fest and will be released internationally on DVD through Sub Rosa studios in January 2003.  Barak also has directed numerous short films and worked as a creative consultant and special effects assistant on the set of TOXIC AVENGER IV: CITIZEN TOXIE and several other productions.  He graduated from the University of North Texas with a Radio-TV-Film degree, and is a co-founder and general partner of WIP STUDIOS. 

SHANE STEIN  is primarily handling strategic, business, and financial matters for PRISON-A-GO-GO!  In 2002, he filmed his 16mm directorial debut I WISH MY BEER WAS AS COLD AS YOUR HEART, and has additionally written, produced, and directed several other short films.  Shane graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and is a co-founder and general partner of WIP STUDIOS.

MICHAEL FLEETWOOD  is an experienced film editor who previously worked on CORNMAN: AMERICAN VEGETABLE HERO.  He is a classically trained editor who works both with Steenbeck Editors, Avid and Final Cut Pro systems.  He holds a Radio-TV-Film degree from the University of North Texas.

AMBER SHIPP  brings a wealth of organizational expertise to WIP STUDIOS, and is handling production and UPM duties on PRISON-A-GO-GO! In 2002, she produced a nationally seen music video for Clear Channel-sponsored recording artist Kelsey Toney's "After Today," a song that has garnered significant airplay including a performance on CBS's EARLY SHOW. Amber also helped coordinate the 2002 Deep Ellum Film Festival. In addition to her B.S. in psychology from Texas A&M, she will graduate with a Radio-TV-Film degree from the University of North Texas in 2003.

LAUREN GRAHAM   is the accomplished webmaster for all internet-related WIP ventures.  She also handles the company's graphic design duties.  She has a Computer Science degree from the University of North Texas.  She was the Art Director on Prison-A-Go-Go!   Lauren also likes to wear hot pants!!

CLAY LIFORD  has been a staple in the Texas cinematography scene for over seven years, dating back to his film school days at the University of Texas, where he graduated with a BA.  He has acted as a feature cinematographer and an Avid editor on four films.  Additionally, Clay has written and shot numerous shorts and music videos.  His most recent video for the world famous band The Nixons won the “Best in Show” award at the Houston World Fest, and his 16mm opus FLOWERS GROWN FROM POWDERED BONES is a featured selection at the 2002 Deep Ellum Film Fest.
