The different products allow our clients critical flexibility in order to best run their business. There are two primary reasons why the ACMI market has grown substantially over the past decade. Firstly, the demand for airfreight is very seasonal as the fourth quarter is much busier each year than the other three-quarters. Therefore, the companies that are involved heavily in the air cargo industry can boost their profit margins by outsourcing with an ACMI provider during the holiday season. Secondly, both partial and fractional ACMI contracts allow our clients to eliminate a significant part of the risk that is associated with transporting air cargo. Partial ACMI contracts are beneficial to clients who need space on an aircraft on a part-time basis. Fractional ACMI contracts are beneficial to clients who need only part of the aircraft for the transportation of their air cargo.
